International Scientific Conference «Vietnam: Memorable Milestones of 2026»

 
Researchers from the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences participated in the International Scientific Conference «Vietnam: Memorable Milestones of 2026»

On February 12–13, 2026, the International Scientific Conference «Vietnam: Memorable Milestones of 2026» took place. The event was organized by the Center for Vietnam and ASEAN Studies (Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences) in collaboration with the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation.

The conference brought together a wide range of researchers, experts, and scholars from Russia, Vietnam, and beyond, fostering a dynamic and constructive forum for academic dialogue.

The Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences was represented at the conference by researchers from its Center for Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Agrarian Research: Head of the Center Irina V. Deriugina and Academic Secretary Vadim O. Dvoichenkov.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол Социалистической Республики Вьетнам в Российской Федерации господин Данг Минь Кхой. Мазырин Владимир Моисеевич (профессор, доктор экономических наук, главный научный сотрудник Центра изучения Вьетнама и АСЕАН ИКСА РАН) представляет совместное издание Института Китая и современной Азии РАН и Вьетнамской Академии Общественных Наук «Отношения России и Вьетнама в 2025 г.: Состояние и перспективы».

To mark the Year of Russian-Vietnamese Cooperation in Science and Education, the Center for S&T Cooperation and Agrarian Research organized a dedicated session «Social & Economic and Scientific & Technological Development of Vietnam in the 21st Century» as part of the International Conference «The Sixth V.G. Rastyannikov's Readings».
