March 18–21, 2024, the Center for Agrarian Research and Food Security, Department of Economic Research, is holding the IV International Conference "V.G. Rastyannikov Readings": Asian and African countries towards a multipolar world order.

March 18–21, 2024, the Center for Agrarian Research and Food Security, Department of Economic Research, is holding the IV International Conference "V.G. Rastyannikov Readings": Asian and African countries towards a multipolar world order.

The conference is devoted to discussing the problems of sustainable development of Asian and African countries in a multipolar world, the role of Asian countries in shaping multipolarity, and assessing the prospects for expanding economic cooperation between Russia and Asian and African countries. The conference will be held in a mixed format.

Venue: Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. 12/1 Rozhdestvenka Street, Moscow.

The following issues are expected to be discussed at the conference:

• Transition to multipolarity and sustainable development in Asia and Africa
• Crises, catastrophes, catharsis and development of the countries of the East, South, West
• The role of Asian countries in shaping a multipolar world
• Current problems of socio-economic development in Asia and Africa
• Scientific and technical cooperation as a factor in the formation of a multipolar world
• The role of information and communication technologies at a new stage of development
• Food security as the basis for the existence of a multipolar world
• Globalization and fragmentation in Asia and Africa
• Prospects for expanding Russia's economic cooperation with Asian and African countries.
• Section of young scientists
